"Profesor Gruden otisao je i korak dalje u objasnjavanju sinhroniciteta i rekao mi je da sve sto nam se dogadja u zivotu zapravo sami reziramo. Ne samo pozitivne stvari nego i ruzne. Bilo zato sto smo mazohisti ili zelimo da kaznimo sebe zbog osecanja krivice ili zelimo da se dovedemo u losu situaciju kako bismo ispitali svoje sposobnosti resavanja takvih situacija... Profesor mi je ispricao anegdotu o tome kako se poznati milijarder Rokfeler obogatio. Kupio je jabuku za cent, dobro je obrisao i prodao za dva centa. Potom je kupio dve jabuke, obrisao ih i prodao za cetiri centa. Kada je vec sakupio nekoliko kilograma jabuka, umrla mu je bogata tetka i ostavila nasledstvo. Poenta te anegdote nije u tome da je covek slucajno imao srece , rekao mi je smejuci se, nego da je krenuo sam, otpocetka vodjen snom o bogatstvu, pa je tu srecu izazvao. Cesto mislimo da se sreca dogadja nekom drugom i mislimo da je nismo zasluzili, ali ona je vec tu, samo treba da se odlucimo i ugrabimo je."
